20 years ago my husband Dan and I drove to Oregon from our home here in the Central Valley of California. We had passed the screening, extensive interview and were allowed to adopt our first Beardie, Daisy, from Brenda Cox, Harvest Bearded Collies. And we were hooked. I have since lived with 6 Bearded Collies and would never think of not having their shaggy, goofy, beautiful selves in my home and life. We have become involved in Conformation, Obedience, Rally, and Herding. We have met the most wonderful people who have become lifelong friends. Our lives have become enriched because of these 4 legged companions.
