I did not know anything about the breed except that they were beautiful and I really like the idea that Beardies were natural herders. I could see myself involved in herding. Brenda Cox, Harvest Beardies, Daisy's breeder, encouraged me to show Daisy in confirmation. She patiently explained what that meant and how to get started, handling classes, showing and training. Since that time (thank you, Brenda) Daisy became my first AKC Champion, and multititled performance dog. Ofcourse that included herding. What an adventure she and I had. She lived to be 16 and was and is my dream and heart dog. Life is not the same without her. What a gift Brenda gave to me.
